Why Annihilator Broadheads?
Annihilators are no BS broadheads. They outright perform. No fluffery needed.
The Annihilator is unique in the deadliest of ways. Bowhunters can expect to recover more animals over a lifetime of archery hunting no matter which Annihilator they choose to use. Expect true cavitation from each Annihilator Broadhead.
HOLES THAT CANNOT CLOSE
All Annihilator Broadheads have raised scoops in the back that extend radially beyond a typical arrow shaft's OD, adding increased cutting surface area. The scoop's purpose is to punch holes not just cut slits as broadheads have been designed to do for so many years. Annihilator Broadheads unique design changes the game entirely by removing more mass from an animal than any competitor broadhead in any respective category, including when passing through hard objects like bone.
Irrespective of animal species, size or shot placement, all Annihilator Broadheads put a 1.5 inch up to a 3 inch hole through an animal. These large holes stay open and prevent wound channels from collapsing on the arrow or bolt. No other design can compare to the massive cutting surface area of Annihilators.
GREATER LETHALITY
Historically, broadheads cause animals to expire by creating lacerations upon impact, resulting in hemorrhaging / blood loss. This is of course extremely effective for hunters who can shoot the heart every time. When that doesn't happen ( like on the vast majority of shots if you're honest ), blood loss is not the most efficient or fastest way to cause an animal to expire.
ANNIHILATOR BROADHEADS are designed to SPEED UP lethality, even with imperfect shots because they:
- Trap a crucial volume of air behind the broadhead during flight.
- Pull that air through an animals cavity upon impact.
- Punch a large hole that cannot close allowing for reduced total surface friction/drag.
- Induce cavitation rapidly changing the internal pressure of an animal's cavity.
- Cause a sucking chest wound collapsing the cavity within seconds.
All of this happens due to the larger cutting surface area of the Annihilator design, thus causing an animals time of death after a shot to decrease significantly. Bowhunters can now have a new expectation to watch any size game animal fall within sight the vast majority of the time.
A quick, clean, and ethical kill is the goal and when using Annihilators that experience can happen more often. Over a lifetime of hunting, using Annihilator Broadheads will make a huge positive impact on a bowhunter's harvest rate.
DURABILITY THAT LASTS & RESHARPENS EASILY
Annihilator Broadheads are pretty much indestructible. Arrow shafts and arrow components typically fail before the Annihilator chips or edges roll over. Most common broadheads are unusable after only one shot.
Annihilators Broadheads are made with 4140 alloy steel, the same material many hammers are made of. Annihilators will not warp, bend, or break when passing through an animal including impact into bone.
All Annihilator Broadhead edges lay flat on a diamond stone so they can be easily sharpened. Making a few passes, you'll have a ready-to-hunt reusable broadhead in under 5 minutes. Archery hunters can expect to use Annihilator Broadheads for life, until they lose them!
FIELD POINT ACCURACY
We eliminated any surfaces that cause broadheads to fly inconsistently. All Annihilator Broadheads are held to overly tight tolerances with almost zero run out and 100% symmetry.
It's easy to achieve optimal flight when you're shooting high precision broadheads. You can expect long range field point accuracy out to as far as you can effectively shoot with zero chance of a mid air failure. And they are all deadly quiet.
MORE PASS THROUGHS & LESS DEFLECTION
Larger wound channels equate to significantly reduced friction on an arrow shaft and its components. The result is less total drag as an arrow passes through an animal for greater penetration efficiency. Irrespective of arrow weight, arrow speed or bow poundage, all archery hunters will see increases in arrow penetration when using Annihilator Broadheads.
Annihilators will not deviate or change shape if they hit hard objects like bone. The cut on contact tips are designed to hook up at the moment of impact, allowing the broadhead to pass through an animal on the original trajectory of the arrow. Annihilators are generally shorter in length so they have less potential for lateral leverage compared to other designs. The more leverage that exist on a broahdead, the greater chance there is for deflection, loss of kinetic energy, and reduced pass through potential.
